WinCap can be full screen, minimized on the task bar or run from the system tray on your desktop.

The top window shows incoming messages. The middle pane of the window shows all configured COM ports you are receiving data on as well as capture statistics. The bottom pane of the window is a terminal display showing LIVE streaming data for which ever port you've selected. All of this is great for tech support and troubleshooting. Naturally the real value of AlertReady is what it generates behind the scenes. Every incoming message can be emailed to one or more email addresses, and stored as text files in one or more directories for permanent archiving. Both Windows and your favorite email programs have loads of built-in filtering and search tools so no special software is needed to manage the data. We capture, store and distribute. You don't have to learn new software to do whatever else your heart fancies.
