What if I need to do advanced editing

QuickRecorder can launch your session into your preferred wave form editor for more advanced editing.

Do I have to record with preset lengths

If you set your “Standard” cart length to a very large value, you can record for hours at a time.

What format does QuickRecorder use

QuickRecorder records to 16 bit uncompressed *.wav files in mono or stereo depending on preference and a sample rate of your choosing.

How easy is it to install QuickRecorder

Download and run the installer.    Set your windows default audio device and it will play and record using that choice.
The rest of the default settings work out of the box.  A simple INI file can be setup with your preferences and is portable between multiple machine installations.

What hardware is needed

QuickRecorder runs from Win7/10/11 computers and windows “stick computers” with minimal requirements.  It will work with any sound standard WDM/MME audio evice that shows up in windows. (not ASIO)
