WireReady has direct support for the full line of Broadcast Tools switchers and routers. The "SS" models provide both audio routing and logic input and output connections for applications that need closure triggers, or need us to generate closures. Broadcast Tools also makes other interfaces if you just need remote start/stops from your studio console. WireReady can be programmed to send user customizable RS-232 character strings to talk to virtually any device that requires them.
Custom "commands" can be created and any place a command like Switch Starguide to Ch15 appears, our software can send the entire string and change the receiver - no in between interface is required. For ball games and remotes, both Broadcast Tools and Circuitwerke's DR10 solution provide telco hybrid and DTMF detection relays that when wired to one of Broadcast Tools switchers allows ControlReady to handle all ball game and unattended remote applications. Our software is sophisticated enough to remain with regular programming when there are weather delays or cancellations. Broadcast Tools and Circuitwerkes devices are available through WireReady or your preferred broadcast dealer.
