Using the "SYNC" automation command

  • SYNC Handbook
The Sync automation command will do a synchronization of a source and destination folder. I.E. it will copy all files that are newer in the source folder than they are in the destination folder, to the destination folder. Any file that exists in the source folder and does not exist in the destination folder will be copied to the destination folder. • Troubleshooting SYNC
When using a computer for on-air duties in the studio, in addition to a computer for production, there may be times when needed files will not copy from one machine to another. WireReady usually recommends using the Sync command in an Automate deck to have files copied, according to a schedule, between a production computer and the studio computers. See the link below for a short document with our recommendations for troubleshooting SYNC.
