Technical Support - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

When I try to exit WireReady - it says at least one of my documents has been modified and not saved - do you want to exit the program yes/no. Why am I getting this and what should I do?

You will get this message anytime you have text in your Notepad(s) that you haven't saved. You will also get this if you have opened
files in the FileLog, edited the text in any way and not closed or saved them.

If you get this message, and you are worried you haven't saved something important, click or say NO and then click the WINDOW pull down menu. It will display all open Notepad or FileLog windows. If you see an * next to any of them, click on them as the * indicates there are unsaved changes in that text window. If the information should be saved, save and close the window. If not, close the window (by clicking on the X or hitting ESC) to close them.

If one of your Notepad(s) has unsaved text in it, either save it or hit the clear button to clear it. Then you can exit without getting the warning. Of course, if you know there's nothing important requiring saving, you can simply say YES at the warning and exit without saving the text contained in any of those windows.
