Are custom commands LAN/Multi-user compatible?
A: No. All versions less than 8.5xx are not multi-user compatible.
On a LAN: If you have multiple machines setup to share the same path for playlists and the custom.dat file (which contains all custom commands), you can all share them HOWEVER:
The only machine on the LAN that should be allowed to change custom commands is the ONAIR machine. The other machines will not pick up the changes until you exit them and restart them. If you don't lock the custom commands and another workstation makes a change, it can overwrite and lose the change you just did from the air machine.
If you have multiple onair machines, it is recommended to have a separate custom command file / playlist path for each air machine. This is controlled via the "G" line in the $config.wr file for each user name. Then, if you make a change to one machine, you can make that same change to each other without having to restart them.
